Helpful Reads & Tools

Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual. Which, quite frankly, feels like a pretty significant design flaw.

But since nobody thought to include one, I’ve decided to collect some of the things I’ve discovered along the way. Books I’ve enjoyed, tools I’ve found useful, interesting resources, and things that might make life a little easier.

Some recommendations come from personal experience. Others are things I’ve come across that seem worth exploring. I’ll do my best to make it clear which is which, because there’s a difference between something I’ve actually tried and something that simply looks promising.

No judgment, no expectation that you have everything figured out, and absolutely no requirement to become a completely different person by next Tuesday.

Tried, Tested & Lucky Me Approved

These are things I’ve personally spent time with and genuinely enjoyed or found helpful. Not because someone paid me to say so, and certainly not because I think everyone needs to love the same things I do. They’re simply worth sharing.

The Killer Isn’t Alice

Category: Interactive Mystery & Puzzles

You know what’s surprisingly relaxing? Trying to solve a murder.

Fictional, obviously. Let’s not make this weird. 😂

The Killer Isn’t Alice is an interactive murder mystery that has you working through clues and eliminating suspects to figure out who’s responsible.

What I enjoy most is the concentration it requires. Instead of thinking about everything else going on in my life, I’m focused on the clues, narrowing down suspects, and trying to solve the mystery.

It’s a nice way to give my brain a break without actually turning it off.

Lucky Me’s verdict: Sometimes the best way to escape your own problems is to spend a little time solving someone else’s. Preferably fictional ones.

More personal favorites will be added as I discover them.

Worth Looking Into

I come across interesting books, websites, educational resources, and useful tools all the time. Some I haven’t tried myself, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth knowing about.

This is where I’ll share those discoveries, along with why they caught my attention and who might find them useful. Think of it as a collection of things worth investigating, without pretending I’ve personally tested every single one.

Recommendations coming soon. Apparently, even collecting useful information requires a little organization. Rude.

Things I Wish I’d Known Sooner

Every now and then, I learn something that makes me wonder how I’ve managed to get this far without knowing it.

Free educational resources, practical tips, helpful websites, and information that makes everyday life a little less complicated will find a home here.

Not everything has to be profound or life-changing. Sometimes learning one small thing is enough to make tomorrow a little easier.

This collection is still growing. So, presumably, am I.

Something Worth Remembering

You don’t have to understand everything about yourself or your life all at once. Sometimes progress is simply learning something new, asking a question, or realizing there’s another way to look at something.

You’re allowed to be a work in progress without treating yourself like a problem that needs fixing. 💛
