Stories We Carry
Not everything heavy can be measured on a scale.
Some things we carry are visible. Others are tucked away behind a smile, a carefully rehearsed “I’m fine,” or the version of ourselves we’ve learned to show the world.
There are stories about our bodies, our minds, the people we’ve loved, the things we’ve survived, and the moments that changed us. Stories about starting over, making mistakes, finding our voices, and learning to live with the parts of life that don’t come with instructions.
Stories We Carry is a place for those experiences. The beautiful ones. The uncomfortable ones. The heartbreaking ones. And the ones that somehow manage to be funny when they probably shouldn’t be.
There won’t always be a lesson neatly tied up with a bow. Sometimes there won’t even be an answer. Just honesty, a little perspective, and the reminder that being human is complicated.
Because sometimes the things we don’t talk about are the things we need to hear the most.
